Sandra L. Cindrich

Sandra “Sandy” L. Cindrich 81 of Ellsworth passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday November 12, 2024. She was born in Ellsworth on December 8, 1942, the daughter of the late William and Margaret Sara Lee. 

Sandy was retired from the former Santoni’s Restaurant in Charleroi. She was a member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church in Charleroi and a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #354 Cokeburg. Sandy enjoyed cooking, knitting, taking walks, and reading. Most of all, she loved spending her time with her 8 grandchildren. On May 4, 1963 in Cleveland, she married the love of her life Timothy Cindrich, having celebrated 61 years of marriage this year. 

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children; Christine Hamay of Shelby Township, MI, Timothy Cindrich of Seven Fields, and Leslie (Bradley) Miller of Canonsburg, 8 grandchildren; Paige Hamay, Caitlyn Cindrich, Hannah Hamay, Gabrielle Hamay, Kyle Cindrich, Payton Miller, Gavin Miller, and Carter Miller, and her sister Linda (Don) Southern of Locust Grove, VA. 

Sandy was preceded in death by her sister Priscilla Devine.

Services were private and interment was held at Scenery Hill Cemetery. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Dementia Society of America
