Marcella Johnson

Marcella Johnson 89 of Van Voorhis, died Monday January 15, 2018 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born May 12, 1928 in Lowber a daughter of William and Marcella Williams Bailey. Marcella was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi.

She is survived by 2 sons Jack (Barb) Johnson of Charleroi, and Robert Johnson of Van Voorhis, a brother William (Carolyn) Bailey of Monessen, a sister Bettie (Dave) Bailey Kubena of Cokeburg, grandchildren Valerie (Jason) Catalfu, Patrick Johnson and Zeb Johnson and one great-grandchild Karleigh Johnson. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband Robert Johnson, a brother Jerry D. Bailey, and 2 sisters, Dorothy Stancato and Norma Jean Bailey.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 17, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes, Inc. 235 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 18, 2018 at 10:00am at Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi with Rev. Gerald Mikonis as celebrant. Interment will follow at Charleroi Cemetery.
