Madeline M. Yasek

Madeline M. Yasek 94 of Ellsworth passed away on Sunday September 8, 2024 at Washington Hospital. Born in Erie on December 12, 1929, she was the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Zamiska Yancoskie. 

Madeline was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Bentleyville campus. She was an avid bowler for many years for several leagues and enjoyed quite a lot of traveling with her late husband. 

Madeline is survived by 3 sons; John (Diane) Yasek of Ellsworth, Joseph Yasek of Washington and Edward Yasek of Ellsworth, a daughter Lorraine Stedman of Escondido, CA, a brother Anthony Yancoskie, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-granchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband John F. Yasek, a son Andrew Yasek, 3 sisters; Kathryn Petonick, Helen Kozura and Eleanor Buscemi.

A graveside blessing will be held at 10:00am on Thursday September 12, 2024 at Sacred Heart Cemetery Carroll Twp. with Deacon Al Paroda presiding. All those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery.
