Dennis "Poopsie" Melvin

Dennis “Poopsie” Melvin 78 of Charleroi, passed away on Monday October 17, 2022 at Mount Macrina Manor. Born in N. Charleroi on September 11, 1944, a son of the late Joseph and Norma Leach Melvin.

Dennis was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Charleroi, a member of the 10^th St. Athletic Club and loved playing cards. He was retired from the former Corning Glass in Charleroi.

Surviving are 2 sons; Jeffrey (Rachel) Melvin of Allenport and Michael Melvin of Monongahela, a daughter Melissa (William) Katrin of Long Branch, 5 grandchildren; Danielle Rohrer, Josh Toth, Demi Levandosky, Haley Levandosky and J. J. Melvin., a great-granddaughter Addie Rohrer and 2 brothers; Joseph (Caroline) Melvin of Belle Vernon and Greg (Patricia) Melvin of Fallowfield Twp..

Dennis was preceded in death by his wife Donna DiMonde Melvin in 2009

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 19^th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes, Inc. 235 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday October 19^th at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Charleroi. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Twp..
